This site is dedicated to the memory of Simon Crawley.

Simon Crawley was born in Liverpool on February 26, 1969. We are very sad to announce that Simon died on 27th December 2013. He will be buried alongside his mother in the Memorial Woodlands near Alveston, Bristol at 1.00 p.m.on Friday 18th January 2013, and we will be delighted to see any of his friends who are able to attend. If you are unable to attend we would really appreciate it if you could add any photographs, memories, funny/random stories (we all have our fair share of those when we think of Simon) to this online memorial. The online memorial will stay online for 10 years and will be a place we hope where his sons Finnegan, Callum and Ryan as well as his family and loved ones can look back over the pictures and memories. The Woodlands are open from 9.30, and as there will be no other funerals there on that day, you are free to come and go as you please. Refreshments (tea and coffee) are available at all hours, and we will be providing additional refreshments at midday. A buffet will be available after the burial when we will have an hour or two to chat and catch up with old acquaintances. The Service will be essentially casual, and includes an opportunity for anyone who wishes to speak and share their memories of Simon with us all. If you should wish to provide additional flowers, we strongly recommend you contact Helen the local florist who can arrange appropriate fresh flowers on the day or for wild flowers to be planted in the Woodlands – an additional advantage is that she does not charge VAT! But donations towards the ongoing upkeep of the land are very welcome, and can be left on the tray provided in the Refreshment Building. To reach the burial plot we take a 5 minute walk along a tarmac road and then walk across 10 metres of grassland, so bearing in mind the vagaries of British weather you are advised to bring appropriate protection! Details of how to get to the Memorial Woodlands are attached, but they are also to be found on the website www.memorialwoodlands.com It will be a pleasure to see you. Cathy Crawley. John Crawley.
